OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2011. "MEGABANK" entered the top ten best Ukrainian companies on the quality of corporate governance. These are the results of the rating carried out by investment company "Concorde Capital" together with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), reported the press-centre of MEGABANK.

The rating estimated 114 public Ukrainian companies. The assessment criteria were: presence of reporting on IFRS, the quality of financial statements in accordance with Ukrainian standards, accessibility and transparency of information about the structure of ownership, accessibility of management, level of publicity, attitude towards investors, ensuring rights of minority shareholders, decision making, risk management and system of motivation of managers.

In general, the top 10 leaders in the quality of corporate governance includes companies "Astarte", "Galnaftogaz", "JKX Oil & Gas", "MHP", "Cadogan Petroleum", "Ferrexpo", "Khlebprom", "MCB Agricole", "MEGABANK" and "Milkiland".
