OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) received a petition from “AgroKuban Resurce” Ltd. (location: 77, Mira St., Ust-Labinsk, the Krasnodar region, 352330; main activities – providing services related to production of agricultural crops) for obtaining preliminary agreement for acquiring 25.5% of the voting shares of “Svoboda” Sugar Plant” CJSC (location: 1, Montazhnikov St., Ust-Labinsk, the Krasnodar region, 352332; main activities – sugar production), which together with earlier acquired 67.72% voting shares of “Svoboda” Sugar Plant” CJSC constitutes 93.22% ( Registration No. 56953 of 29th September 2011), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Governed by Clause 2 Part 2 and Part 3 Article 33 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26th July 2006, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) sent an enquiry to the petitioner (No.TsA/40514 of 28th October 2011) and made a decision to extend the period for considering the petition in order to additionally investigate the petition and obtain additional information.
