The Fourth China International Hydrogen Conference and China Gas Association Hydrogen Professional Committee 2011 Conference is held at Baosteel. 150 experts and scholars from home and abroad including China Industrial Gases Industry Association president Du Jun, Baosteel Gas Co., Ltd. chairman Sheng  Zhongke attended the meeting, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

In recent years, as a clean energ, hydrogen is being increasingly used. With the hydrogen industry development, Baosteel's hydrogen production, application, marketing and sales have also achieved good results. For 10 years, based on the hydrogen supply of relevant production units in Baosteel, Baosteel Gas Co., Ltd. actively explores the external market and gains high reputation and market share. "BQ" (Bao Qing) has also become the only domestic registered brand of hydrogen. Baosteel Gas Co., Ltd. plans to become the largest supplier of high-purity hydrogen in East China by way of equity acquisition.

The conference aims to promote China's hydrogen economic development and hydrogen energy technology upgrade through experts' discussion and exchange on hydrogen energy technology development and application.

Sheng Zhongke says in his speech that as advocate and practitioner of circular economy and clean production, Baosteel will make greater contribution to China's hydrogen industry development and energy saving.

Du Jun says in his speech that during the "12th five year" period, with the national energy saving policy implementation, the hydrogen industry will face new development opportunities. The industry should make efforts in technology, quality, structural adjustment, safety, brand strategy and promote China's hydrogen industrial development.
