Undertaken by Baosteel Engineering& Technology Group, Shanghai Industrial Technology Service Co., Ltd. for the first time, the national science and technology support project "high-temperature furnace charge hot charging and delivery new iron making technical process critical equipment technology development" has started recently, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

The project belongs to one of the Ministry of Science 12th Five-Year Plan National Science and Technology Support Program's sub-topic, "iron and steel process pre-iron process residual heat efficient use and energy saving integrated technologies".Project goal is to develop a number of iron and steel process pre-iron process residual heat efficient use and energy saving integrated technologies with independent intellectual property rights and develop high-temperature charge hot delivery and hot charging and high temperature and high pressure furnace top seals and material spreading system key equipment and form a number of patents. It is reported that the project is scheduled to be completed before the end of 2014.
