OREANDA-NEWS. November 7, 2011. The Novosibirsk Branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company won the open tender for the insurance contract of the pledged property of Airport Tolmachevo JSC for the total amount of 390.2 million rubles.

The Contract provides a one-year insurance coverage of the property and land owned by Airport Tolmachevo JSC. The Contract provides for the protection against such risks as fire, lightning stroke, gas explosion, natural disasters, theft with illegal intrusion and robbery, third party ill-intentioned actions (including terrorist attacks), breakdown of water supply, sewage, heating networks, fire control systems, water penetration from ad-joining premises, ground vehicle run down, fall of manned aircraft or its wreckage, breakage of window glass, mirrors, shop windows.

Besides Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, 7 insurance companies took part in the tender. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company offered the most favorable performance terms of the insurance contract and was recognized the tender winner. Airport Tolmachevo JSC is a major transit point behind the Urals on most important routes connecting Europe and Asia.

Airport Tolmachevo is one of the most intensively developing airports of the federal level. Its international and domestic terminals have a capacity of 2,550 people. Concentration of railway, motor way water transport arteries in Novosibirsk, expansion of trade and economic relations of the Siberian Federal District with foreign and Russian partners, development of the region's infrastructure contribute to the development of Tolmachevo as a large air transportation center.
