OREANDA-NEWS. November 07, 2011. I.T. Co. has become a winner of the National Industry Award "For promotion of security of Russia" (ZUBR 2011) in the category "Information Security." I.T. Co. presented to the Examination Board its own development – an information security management and monitoring system called "Security Vision," which was recently transitioned to a new technology platform.

The first version of the company's security management system was referred to as Security Monitoring and Management Center (IT SMMC) and was developed by I.T. Co. specialists in 2007. Later, it was renamed Security Vision. Since then, the solution has been constantly developing in accordance with the active development of the information security market. One of the significant steps in the evolution of Security Vision was the transition to the new platform QRadar, developed by American company Q1Labs – one of the leaders in the field of centralized management systems (SIEM, Security Information and Event Management).

Usage of the new platform enabled expansion of Security Vision's functionality which improved the main characteristics of the solution in terms of incident and security management.

The updated version of the Security Vision information security management and monitoring system was presented at the recent VIII International Exhibition Conference “InfoSecurity Russia. StorageExpo. Documation-2011” where it attracted noticeable interest from specialists. In addition, the Security Vision system obtained a diploma and a gold medal at the open meeting of the Expert Council of VIII National Industrial Award "For promotion of security of Russia" (ZUBR 2011) in the category “Information Security.”

“When creating our solution back in 2007, we initially focused on market requirements,” said Ruslan Rahmetov, Head of the Information Security Competence Center at I.T. Co. The award is certainly a very pleasing, but expected, recognition of our product.”
