OREANDA-NEWS. November 07, 2011. On the 3th November, 2011 First Container Terminal (FCT, St. Petersburg, part of NCC group) handled its millionth TEU since the beginning of the year.

For the third time ever, turnover of Russia’s container terminal exceeded 1M TEU. Previously, the millionth TEU was handled by FCT on the 5th December, 2008 and on the 11th November, 2010.

The millionth container was delivered to the terminal from China (the port of Xiamen) by containership MAERSK VANCOUVER of MAERSK LINE.
