The plant supplied more than 300 tonnes of oxidants, one of the most important rocket propellants, to the Shenzhou VIII spacecraft.

Up to 300 tonnes of N2O4 oxidants, or nearly 70 percent of the total fuels added to the Tiangong 1 launch vehicle, were also produced by the Group.

Huaihua Group is the largest coal chemical corporation in Anhui province and China's major rocket propellant producer.
