OREANDA-NEWS. November 07, 2011. A model of Tiangong 1 spacecraft is set to make its appearance at the 7th China's Anhui Investment and Trade Expo and 11th China (Hefei) High-Tech Fair in Hefei, capital city of Anhui province from November 8 to 11.

The aerocraft model from the General Armaments Department, a chief organ under Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is believed to be the most eye-catching exhibit at the expo.

"It's tough trying to bring the model to the expo as the successful docking of the Tiangong 1 with the Shenzhou VIII spacecraft took place right on Thursday," Zhu Ce, head of the municipal bureau of science and technology said.

On top of the Tiangong 1 model, visitors will be interested to see a couple of space equipment ranging from a double space satellite model to a reentry module of a recoverable satellite and a recoverable spacecraft parachute at the upcoming event.

Also, the expo will wow visitors with dozens of robots, especially the one that can heat food in a microwave by following the instruction. It took the second place in a world robot contest, the best result Chinese robots had ever got, Zhu said.
