OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2011. Baku hosts a meeting of the members of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) on issues of customs regulations.

At the meeting Sanan Mukhtarov, the head of Legal Department of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, has said that the new Customs Code of Azerbaijan implies customs control of oil and gas pipelines.

"The Code is to come into force on 1 January 2012, and we will begin the customs control of oil and gas pipelines” Mukhtarov said.
