GCL Beijing Branch Provided Scholarship for Xiangying School
OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2011. Mr. Gao Ming, Deputy General Manager of GCL Beijing Branch, went to Xiangying School, Yanqing, Beijing, providing 24 excellent students with GCL Scholarship and donating named plaque and campaign fund to Martial Arts Class. Education Committee Director of Xiangying Mr. Song Shucheng, Principal of Xiangying School Mr. Dong Guoliang and Vice Principal of Xiangying School Mr. Zhao Yongqi attended the ceremony, reported the press-centre of GCL.
The relationship between GCL Beijing Branch and Xiangying School has been established for more than 4 years. Mr. Gao Ming expressed that GCL Beijing Branch kept returning the society and bringing benefit to people while developing business. To help Xiangying School was not only a form of returning the society, but also a kind of good connection. He hoped that the children would comply with school motto, “I need, I like and strive to become a useful person”, and make contribution to their hometown and country when they realize their dreams.
Mr. Dong Guoliang on behalf of all the teachers and students presented a commemorative flag to GCL Beijing Branch. He thanked Beijing Branch for the help in these years and indicated that all the teachers and students would make joint efforts to do the best to honor the trust from GCL Beijing Branch. During the ceremony, all the attendees watched the performance of Martial Arts Class.
In 2007, GCL Beijing Branch established “GCL Hand in Hand Library” in Xiangying School, sending valuable spiritual wealth to the students. In 2008, GCL Beijing Branch held “GCL Beijing Trip”, inviting teachers and students to visit Olympic Venues to feel the culture and Olympic atmosphere. In summer of 2010, GCL Beijing Branch subsidized 5 students and teacher to join 2010 Shanghai Expo “Summer Camp of Zhixin Jiejie (Intimate Elder Sister)”, helping them broaden their horizons.
It is reported that GCL advocates care and love for people and life. While providing insurance protection for the society, GCL values the social responsibility and care for the people embedded in insurance and keeps returning the society with love and care.
