OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2011. TATNEFT continues working on the legal protection of the Companies development designs overseas. Patent No. 2501400 for the invention "Device for setting a profile liner in the well" was received from the Canadian Patent Office early in October of this year, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The present invention relates to drilling and well workover, and is intended in particular to expand and gauge the profile liners with cylindrical threaded ends when running them in the wells. Application of the invention provides for increased operability and reliability of the tool when it is applied for expanding the structures made of profile pipes.

The authors of the present invention are the following specialists of TATNEFT: G.S. Abdrakhmanov, Kh. Z. Kaveev, R.R. Ibatullin, I.G. Yusupov, N. Kh. Khamityanov, A.V. Kirshin, A.S. Yagafarov, R.G. Abdrakhmanov, L.V. Yunyshev and N.N. Vildanov.

Earlier this development had been granted the patents of the U.S., China and the European patent (Germany and UK).
