OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2011. TNK-BP reports that it conducted a regular company Townhall meeting, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

The company top managers who immediately participate in the decision making process including Stream and Function Leaders and General Directors of TNK-BP subsidiaries traditionally meet every six months to discuss the key events in the life of TNK-BP and elaborate a program of further action.

The regular meeting agenda included a review of company operational and financial indicators for 9M 2011 and an analysis of implementation of a functional management model that conforms to the world-class standards and a new authority matrix and announced changes in the top management structure. Based on the discussions, the meeting participants presented their proposals and comments with regard to the key avenues of TNK-BP development aiming to improve the company operating performance.

“The TNK-BP senior management townhall, which is traditionally held every six months, has become not only a forum for discussing key events in the life of the Company, but also an effective mechanism for seeking solutions to specific issues facing the Company. The direct involvement of senior managers in the process of taking decisions on the Company’s future beyond their immediate areas of responsibility helps to develop a shared viewpoint and to find truly effective means of achieving the sweeping targets set by TNK-BP’s shareholders”, said TNK-BP Chief Financial Officer Jonathan Muir.

The company will also conduct top management meetings of TNK-BP subsidiaries and structural units in the regions of company presence before the end of 2011. The top managers will be informed about the outcomes of the Moscow Townhall including the key topics discussed by TNK-BP senior executives and the resulting decisions for subsequent analysis and elaboration of a program of action at the regional level considering the specific business objectives set for each of the company assets.
