TGC-1 Increased Gross Electricity Output by 5%

The output of the Company’s hydroelectric power plants was 8% lower than the identical value of the last year due to decrease of water content in the regions of TGC-1’s presence. Hydroelectric power plants of JSC TGC-1 produced a total of 9,162 million kW/h from January till September. The installed electric capacity utilization ratio lost nine percentage points and equaled 48% according to the results of nine months. At that, the electric capacity utilization factor of the Company’s heat plants grew by 7 percentage points because of new capacities and equaled 46.6%. As a result, the total electric capacity utilization factor of TGC-1 for 9 months of the year 2011 remained unchanged if compared to the same period of the year 2010 and amounted 47%.
Total heat otput by power plants of TGC-1 according to the results of nine months of 2011 was 18,277 thousand Gcal which is 4.5% lower than the identical value in 2010. Relatively high average air temperature in the Company’s regions of operation in the first quarter became the reason of such decrease.
