OREANDA-NEWS. November 3, 2011. The third Turkmenistan-Russian economic forum was held in Ashgabat: A New Level of Inter-Regional Cooperation — a Pledge of a New Quality of Life for the People of Turkmenistan and Russia.

The forum was attended by representatives from Turkmen governmental ministries and agencies, the state concerns Turkmengaz, Turkmenneft, Turkmengeologia, Turkmenneftegazstroy, Turkmenchemistry, and commercial banks from Turkmenistan.

The Russian delegation included representatives from the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Presidential Administration of Russia, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the Bank of Russia and the business community interested in developing relations with Turkmenistan. Novikombank was represented at the forum by its Vice-Presidents Yuliya Ershova and Ekaterina Suprunovich.

During the forum representatives from Novikombank held fruitful talks with the Turkmen Vnesheconombank, and the state commercial banks Turkmenbashi, Dayhanbank и Halkbank.

The negotiations led to the establishment of contacts with Turkmen banks, which in turn will help improve the business environment for the Bank’s clients, who are implementing projects in Turkmenistan, and will also attract Turkmen financial institutions to the Novikombank financial institution service programme Bank for Banks and promote cooperation under the International Banking Club
