OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2011. The new bank offices were opened in Lebap and Dashoguz Velayat. The ceremony of opening the new office of a branch of the Garagum International Joint Stock Bank was held on the day of the 18th anniversary of the introduction of the national currency unit – Turkmenistan manat. It replenished the architectural ensemble of new buildings which have sprung up in recent years along S. A. Niyazov Avenue.

The two-storey building of the Turkmenabat branch of the Garagum International Joint Stock Bank was designed and constructed by the Yyldyz private construction company. The comfortable conditions were created there for the fruitful activity of local staff and clients. There are the spacious area designed for providing timely and effective services to clients and the offices supplied with modern devices, office equipment and computers and reliable communications systems on the ground floor of the building. The bank branch also carries out a range of multinational financial operations. The building houses several Western Union offices.

The ceremony of opening the new office of a branch of the Halkbank Turkmen State Commercial Bank and the festivities to mark the 18th anniversary of the introduction of the national currency unit – Turkmenistan manat took place in the administrative centre of S. A. Niyazov Etrap in Dashoguz Velayat. The new bank office called Ruhubelent has replenished the list of the large-scale facilities built and reconstructed in the region in recent years in the framework of the rural infrastructure development programme.

The new bank office occupies the two-storey administrative building reconstructed by the Badalga private construction company in the centre of the urban settlement. There is the spacious area for clients, accounting department, credit department and cash offices on the ground floor. An exchange office is opened there for the convenience of local citizens. The Gyrat money transfer system will be used there. The offices are located on the first floor.
