OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2011. "The Plan on Anhui Buildings' Energy-Saving During the 12th Five-Year Plan" was released, according to Anhui Provincial Administration of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction.

In the coming five years; the newly constructed energy-saving buildings will hit 200 million square meters; the buildings made of renewable energy across Anhui will account for 40% of the total newly constructed civil buildings at the end of 12th Five-Year Plan and government will subsidize energy-saving update.

According to the plan, Anhui will realize energy-saving capacity of 8 million tons of standard coal in the future five years and reduce emission of carbon dioxide of 20.96 million tons. By the end of 12th Five-Year Plan, the implementation rate of energy-saving standard of newly constructed buildings in urban areas will hit 100%.
