Moldova State Budget Revenues Up 11%
OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2011. Moldova state budget revenues for 9 months of 2011 totaled 12,978.2 mln leis, up 11% (1,282.7 mln) from the same period last year. At the same time, they turned out to be 188.1 mln leis (1.4%) less than was planned for this period, according to the Finance Ministry.
The main receipts of the state budget in January-September 2011 totaled 11,504 mln leis (99.5% of the planned for this period). Compared to the same period last year, they grew 1,152.5 mln leis (11.1%). At the same time, the state budget spending for 9 months this year totaled 14,260.8 mln leis (88% of the planned). In comparison with the same period last year, they increased by 938.8 mln leis (7%).
The main state budget expenditure totaled 12,417 mln leis (92.5% of the planned). In comparison with the same period last year, they grew 534.2 mln leis (4.5%). The state budget deficit in January-September 2011 totaled 1,282.6 mln leis. It was covered by the proceeds from government securities issues (98.6 mln leis), foreign financial assistance (877.6 mln leis), incomes from sale and privatization of public property (93.3 mln leis), other sources (10.5 mln leis). 611.4 mln leis were paid to fulfill obligations to foreign creditors for the main amount of credits.
