Air Moldova Opens New Destination Chisinau-Surgut
OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2011. Air Moldova announces the opening of a new destination Chisinau - Surgut from October 30th, 2011. Flights will be operated on the basis of a code-share agreement with Russian airline company UTair, under which Air Moldova will act as the marketing carrier, while the operator of flight will be the airline company UTair, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.
Regular Air Moldova flights on the direction Chisinau -Surgut-Chisinau will be carried out weekly, 1 time per week, with Boieng 737-500 airliner on the following schedule:
Flight 9U9779 on Sundays Surgut-Chisinau,
Departure from Surgut 22:40
Arrival to Chisinau 23:30
Flight 9U9780 on Mondays Chisinau-Surgut
Departure from Chisinau 00:50
Arrival to Surgut 9:40
In summer season 2012 the national carrier airline company Air Moldova intends to increase the number of flights on this direction to twice a week, performing flights on comfortable aircraft Embraer 190.
This new direction Chisinau-Surgut represents the 22nd route network direction of regular scheduled flights of the Moldavian air carrier company, and the 4th in the list of Russian Federation, where Air Moldova operates flights.
Opening of a new direction in Russian Federation will allow Air Moldova to continue the development of transit passengers' transportation from Russia to European capitals through the base airport - Chisinau.
