OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2011.The list for the second batch of universities and colleges selected to cultivate excellent engineers was unveiled by the Ministry of Education recently, University of Science and Technology of China(USTC), a prestigious high-educational institution based in Anhui Province was on the list, among other 132 universities across the country.

The programme is designed to foster engineer talents through a new educational mechanism by both universities and enterprises, which aims to provide high quality of engineering manpower for a variety of industries.

USTC initiated application for the programme at the beginning of this year, organizing in-field survey for firms including iFLTEK and R&D Group of Microsoft in Asian region.
