OREANDA-NEWS. November 1, 2011. The Cabinet of Ministers held a meeting on the results of socioeconomic development in the first 9 months of 2011 in accordance with the overriding priorities of socioeconomic development of the country in 2011, October 19.

The meeting focused on issues to ensure timely implementation of investment projects included in the Program on the priorities of industrial development of the country in 2011-2015.

As was noted at the meeting, 828 industrial facilities in the food processing, light industry, chemical industry, machinery, building materials and other industries were commissioned in Uzbekistan in January-September this year.

The active implementation of investment projects provided the growth of investments by 8 percent and attracting foreign investments worth over USD  2.3 billion.
