OREANDA-NEWS. November 1, 2011. On November 1, 2011 deliverable futures contracts on ordinary shares of OJSC "Rostelecom" will resume trading on FORTS, the futures and options market of RTS. The contract’s code in the trading system is RTKM-<settlement month>.<settlement year>.

According to the contract’s specifications, the contract lot amounts to 100 shares of OJSC "Rostelecom". The contract is to be settled in March, June, September and December.

"The reorganization of the largest issuer in the telecommunication sector has been completed with OJSC "Rostelecom" merging with the regional telecommunication operators," said Evgeny Serdyukov, Derivatives Market Director of RTS Stock Exchange. "Liquidity of the underlying asset has increased substantially recently, with the shares entering the top 10 most liquid securities of the Russian stock market.  And we are pleased to launch trading in this instrument again that is equally useful for all categories of trading participants, for both professional asset managers and private.
