OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2011. Ukraine ceases to be object of monitoring FATF, that is becomes the full-fledged member of the international financial community. The corresponding decision is adopted by this international organization in Paris where the first plenary meeting of the FATF- XXIII has recently taken place.

Ukraine has been received such evaluation by improving the regime against money laundering and terrorist financing.

The FATF has noted the significant progress of our country in this matter, having noted that Ukraine has mostly fulfilled its commitments to address elimination of deficiencies identified by the FATF in February 2010.

Thus,  Ukraine ceases to be object of monitoring FATF - it have excluded from the corresponding "controlling" list as the country which has confirmed compliance with international standards on combating money laundering and terrorist financing.

However, Ukraine will continue to cooperate with international organizations to improve of already existing developments and the adoption of international experience to deal with "dirty" money.
