OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2011. One more industrial park is going to be opened in Perm region. Following Perm industrial park "Osenzi", opened on the 24th of October, a new technological park "Technopark-PM" is expected to be founded on OJSC "Perm Engine Company" area.

Setting about "Technopark" project "PMZ" management was aimed at optimizing excessive production facilities, and not by selling them off or liquidating, but by attracting small and medium enterprises to industrial cooperation, accommodation and generation of new business entities within advantageous conditions of on-site industrial park and providing guaranteed orders for production of "Technopark-PM" residents.

According to the project the park will be situated at the part of south area of "PMZ" production site. There are more than 15 office, laboratory, production and storage premises there, having all the utility lines and power capacities. To realize the project Perm Engine Company is considering Perm region administration to be the most reliable partner, helping to establish preferential tax treatment for "Technopark-PM" residents.

In its turn, in addition to providing equipped production sites and guaranteed orders for production, "PMZ" can offer a wide range of support services to the residents. These services include juridical and information support, management consulting service, security services and infrastructure support.

- We consider "Technopark-PM" as the project focused on reinforcing small and medium business entities and increasing Perm region attractiveness for innovative business. Also we expect it to solve some of our production and technological tasks. Mostly we are interested in innovative component of the project because our enterprise is badly in need of technologies, which are far ahead of the time. These technologies are overlay laser welding of compressor blades, laser cutting and drilling, and also multi-axis machining of the engine parts. The application of these technologies will allow us to increase the quality of our production and reduce labor and production costs.

However we have no opportunity to realize these technologies effectively within our enterprise because of too long period of their implementation and payback. The residents of "Technopark-PM" are supposed to help us in solving this problem. Producing goods with cooperation with "PMZ" they will have not just guaranteed order from our company, but also an opportunity to produce wider range of products, exceeding "PMZ" demands, and to offer it at any markets, using all the preferences, that "Technopark-PM" provides to its residents.

There have been some engagement agreements already signed, concerning some of perspective activities we offer within the framework of ‘Technopark-PM" project. And we invite all organizations, interested in long-term cooperation to work together effectively on the base of "Technopark-PM" resources.
