OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2011. Demonstration Zone for Industrial Transfer along Anhui Section of Yangtze River, or more often known as Wanjiang Demonstration Zone became the magnet for foreign investment in the first nine months this year, attracting over 70 percent of total foreign fund into the province, according to official figures released recently.

Total number of ratified projects directly funded by foreign money was 154 during the first three quarters, with foreign investment of 1.9 billion US dollars out of total 2.9 billion US dollars.

Two core cities in the zone-Hefei and Wuhu draw 77 foreign-funded projects in the first nine months, accounting for half of the total such projects.
