OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2011. One has completed assembly of a wagon dumber (device for coal unloading) at Krasnoyarsk CHP-3, a branch of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”. One has successfully undertaken a trial run of the newly assembled equipment.

The wagon dumper assembly is part of an array of works being performed within the framework of implementation of a core investment project of Yenisei TGC – that for construction of unit 1 of Krasnoyarsk CHP-3.

The wagon dumper designed for unloading of wagons with capacity up to 134 t has been manufactured by Zuyevskyy Power Mechanical Plant (Ukraine). The project was implemented by Sibirenergoengineering contractor organization.

The wagon dumper has been assembled and has undergone a trial run. In the nearest future one plans to complete auxiliary equipment assembly works and to launch the wagon dumper into operation to deliver coal to the storage and to the hot-water peaking boiler house.

The wagon dumper installation and launch were necessitated by forecast increase in the plant fuel consumption: after launch of unit 1 of Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 consumption of coal is to grow at least twice amounting to approximately 1.2 mln t annually.

The wagon dumper will be serviced by 2 persons. Before the wagon dumper commissioning it took a team of loading hands almost three hours to unload 700 t of coal; now the operation can be performed within an hour. This will enhance reliability of fuel supply and reduce the risk of personnel injuries.
