OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2011. Astana Maslikhat decided to increase the budget of the capital on October 27 at the ordinary meeting. The budget of Astana for 2011-2013 was clarified due to changes and amendments on the Law of Republic of Kazakhstan "On Republican Budget for 2011-2013" and the additional transfer was allotted from the republican budget in the amount of 70,750,161 tenge, as well as transfers were reallocated in the amount of 23,909,059 tenge. Also a city treasury was increased by budget incomes in the amount of 168 500 tenge.

Speaking at the ordinary meeting of Maslikhat, Head of the Department of Economy and Budget Planning of Astana Zhanat Nurpiisov said that in view of changes, the total volume of Astana budget for 2011 is 338, 032,112.5 tenge, with growth to approved budget in the amount of 116,604,366.5 tenge or 152.6 percent.
