OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2011. Post Modern Technology, an ARMADA Group (MICEX, RTS: ARMD) company, which develops the MEDIALOG medical information system, has held the fourth annual seminar “MEDIALOG in Practice” in Moscow, bringing together over 100 customers and partners.

As in the previous years, PMT’s clients contributed greatly to the seminar’s proceedings. Head of the Clinic Data Support Department at the Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery Alla Kurochkina delivered a presentation about developing an expert system using the MEDIALOG solution. Yury Orlov from the Endocrinology Scientific Center gave a speech on setting up an integrated automated workflow. Mikhail Kupriyanov, from the Center of Endosurgery and Lithotripsy, shared practical knowledge about implementing the MOBIMED.RU patient portal. Sergey Arseniev, from the Emergency Surgery & Children's Trauma Department of Moscow's Pediatric Scientific Research Institute, addressed workflow automation using the MEDIALOG solution in the emergency room of Dr. Roshal’s famous clinic.

“The Russian market for medical information systems is experiencing rapid and continuous expansion. The government is getting increasingly involved in the segment as the National Healthcare Priority Project gains momentum. But Russian medical institutions still lack automation technologies, as less than few percent of medical centers and hospitals are equipped with automation solutions. MEDIALOG is among the best solutions1 that meets the needs of Russian health care providers. We are already partnering with over 35 companies to implement the solution. The partner network has grown by one third in 2011,” PMT’s CEO Andrey Borisov said.
