OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2011. Government order for the Lviv Automobile Factory products will be increased, President Viktor Yanukovych said during his visit to LLC "LAZ" in Lviv. "The factory is working 60-70% for the Ukrainian market. This is not bad. But we should think and improve work in this direction. There must be no less orders than it is today," he said.

The President reminded that earlier, government orders for LLC “LAZ” products had been about 20%, but the figure has been growing recently. "We are moving in the right direction," the President said.

President Yanukovych toured the facility, was told about the production process and examined the plant products, including the ambulance car developed jointly by LAZ and Renault.

Talking to the factory staff the President said that the ambulances produced by LAZ for EURO 2012 hosting cities would continue to be used to provide high-quality emergency care in rural areas.
