OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2011. The Government of Belarus has chosen five high-profit enterprises to pay Br1.257 trillion in charity contributions from their H1 revenues to the national development fund. In dollar terms, the overall contribution to be paid to the development fund stands at U.S. USD 218 million at the central bank’s exchange rate.

OJSC Belaruskali is expected to make the largest contribution to the state budget’s target fund – a total of Br1.1 trillion.

The contribution of OJSC Gomeltransneftdruzhba is expected at Br126.43 billion, Belarusneft - Br24,1 billion, Beltelecom – Br4 billion, Belaeronavigatsia – Br2.5 billion.

The National Development Fund was established in December 2005 in pursuance of presidential ordinance #637. The fund provides financing for the key social projects, strategic economic projects and long-term national investment projects. The Fund is formed by profit transfers made in excess of budget transfers.
