OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2011. Belarus plans to equate its prices for farm products to match those in countries that constitute the Single Economic Space, the Cabinet of Ministers of Belarus said in a resolution.
The document is complete with a schedule of activities for 2011 intended to implement the State Programme for Sustainable Development in Rural Areas for 2011-2015.
Belarus undertakes to optimize its price formation mechanism in order to match farm product prices in the Single Economic Space, which now embraces Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Within the next five years Belarus undertakes to reduce state support for agribusiness from 16% to 10%, the Belarusian government’s resolution said.
