Oleg Mazurov to Resign as CEO of Allianz ROSNO Asset Management
OREANDA-NEWS. October 27, 2011. Oleg Mazurov decided to resign from the position of ARAM CEO. Company’s Board of Directors accepted Mazurov’s decision and thanked him for his work, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.
Oleg Mazurov took the lead of the Asset Management Department of Allianz ROSNO Asset Management in 2004. By that time, he had a successful track record at the financial market; over the period from 1999 to 2004 he grew from a specialist of an Investment Unit to the Head of Investment Transactions Management Division of ROSNO.
On October 4, 2006, Oleg Mazurov was appointed the CEO of Allianz ROSNO Asset Management. During Oleg’s 5 years in this office, the Company has significantly strengthened its market position having increased assets under management to RUR 25.29 Bln as of Q2 20111 thus bringing the share of third-party assets under management to 60%. The Company manages eight open-end mutual funds, which boast numerous professional awards (Financial Olympus; Finance and other) and TOP ranking positions (RBC.Ranking, InvestFunds etc). Allianz ROSNO Asset Management headed by Oleg Mazurov received several awards, including Expert RA award (as a Leader of Insurance Reserve Management Market based on 2010 results) and became the winner of the annual Russian Market of Collective Investment contest (as the Best Insurance Reserve Manager of 2009). In 2008 Expert RA assigned the Company with "А++" rating which marks high level of reliability and quality of asset management services which was further confirmed on an annual basis.
Allianz strategy and plans as regards Allianz ROSNO Asset Management do not change and will be consistently implemented by the current team. Starting October 25, 2011 Dmitry Vasyutinsky will be the acting CEO. Mr. Vasyutinsky joined the Company in 2004 and is responsible for alternative investment development.
