OREANDA-NEWS. October 27, 2011. According to RBC.Rating’s rankings, Sviaz-Bank places 14th among the leading retail banks for performance over six months of 2011 among the country’s 55 biggest banks surveyed by the agency, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

Sviaz-Bank’s principal performance figures such as growth in the issue of mortgages, unsecured loans, loans for the purchase of vehicles, the number of plastic cards in circulation, and the number of its proprietary automated teller machines have propelled the Bank up to a respectable position and enabled it to hold its large potential to develop as a multipurpose lending and financial institution with a growing retail business.

By July 1, 2011, the Bank had issued over 3.1 billion rubles in mortgages, more than 1.4 billion rubles in unsecured loans, and upward of 68 million rubles in loans for the purchase of motor vehicles (even though the program was launched in February of this year).
