Russia and Vietnam Agreed on Loan for Vietnamese NPP
OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2011. The authorities of Russia and Vietnam have finished a coordination process on a loan for construction of a NPP in Vietnam, head of Atomstroyexport Alexander Glukhov told journalists.
“I know that the Ministry of Finance of Russia has completed the coordination process on the NPP loan with the Vietnamese partners. The realistic start of the work on the site is the first half of 2012, and the funding will start when there will be real work,” Glukhov said.
JSC Atomstroyexport is a leading engineering company of ROSATOM, which deals with construction of nuclear power facilities abroad. Currently, Atomstroyexport is the contractor for construction projects of five nuclear power units being constructed abroad, in parallel.
