OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2011. PM Expert, a part of Armada Group (MICEX, RTS: ARMD), and its British partner Mace International have held an exclusive master class in project program management.

The event was attended by representatives of major Russian companies in the construction, mining and electric power sectors. The attendees of the master class had an opportunity to study the best global experience in capital construction management and to learn about the methods of efficient management of large-scale projects and their practical implementation.

During the three-day master class, the employees of Mace International shared their first-hand experience in managing such projects as the construction of the 2012 Olympics facilities and the Shard skyscraper in London. The students visited the Olympic park grounds where they saw and discussed the construction of the London Olympic facilities. The managing partners of PM Expert told them about the latest trends in the management of programs and project portfolios, and gave recommendations about methods of program risk management. These methods are applicable to any industry, including IT projects, which constitute the bulk of PM Expert’s business.
