OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2011. On the Days of KAMAZ in Surgut, an exhibition was organized at which the leader of the Russian truck industry demonstrated its best samples of special equipment for operation under severe conditions of Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

The main purpose of the exhibition is to gather partners and clients, demonstrate a wide range of multipurpose and special equipment based on KAMAZ chassis to the leading companies of the region. Thus, purchasers of KAMAZ trucks managed to receive comprehensive information about their vehicles directly from the representatives of the plant. There were more than 40 units of equipment for oil-and-gas production, municipal services and road-building industry at the exhibition. The event was initiated by an official dealer of OJSC KAMAZ – OAO Scientific and Technical Center “Evrika-Trade” which not only sells vehicles in the region, but also updates heavy-duty trucks to a particular customer’s order.

The guests of the exhibition expressed their interest in high-payload vehicles based on all-wheel drive KAMAZ chassis and designed for transportation of heavy-duty and large-scale cargoes – a bolster-type tractor KAMAZ-65226 (6x6) and a dump truck KAMAZ-65201Z (8x8). Besides, the visitors were shown new products – an oil and gas condensate collection unit AKNS-16 on KAMAZ-6560 chassis (8x8) and a gas piston generator set AP 100S-T400-1R based on an engine KAMAZ 820.20-200.
