OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2011. In September 2011 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 53 000 passengers, that is by 6% more in comparison with the similar period of 2010, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.

The biggest increase in passenger traffic during September at Air Moldova was recorded on following flights: Chisinau-London (103%), Chisinau-Paris (+75%), Chisinau-Wien (64%), Chisinau- Madrid (11%), Chisinau-Bucharest (9).

More than 900 passengers used in September Air Moldova transfer service from Moscow, Sochi, Kiev and Bucharest to Europe, through Chisinau International Airport as a transit HUB.

In August 2011, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air Moldova consisted 101 tons, indicating an increase of 12% comparing with the similar period of 2010.
