OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2011. China is willing to open its market for Moldovan goods, in particular for the Moldovan wine. The seven-fold increase in the exports of Moldovan wines to the Chinese market, recorded in 2010, proves the increasing popularity of the Moldovan beverages among Chinese consumers, the MAEIE's press relations department has said.

The Chinese authorities will urge the state-run and private enterprises to develop concrete joint projects in Moldova. The deputy chairman of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Li Keqiang, made the above statement at a meeting with Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Iurie Leanca, who is on an official three-day visit to China.

The Chinese official said that the Moldovan foreign minister's visit would give a strong impetus to the development of bilateral ties and would bring about positive results by increasing the interest in Moldova of the Chinese investors. Moreover, the visit will contribute to the promotion of joint projects in such fields as energy, development of the road infrastructure, agriculture, telecommunications and IT.
