OREANDA-NEWS. October 24, 2011. The respective decision was taken by the National Power Regulating Agency, that approved tariffs for thermal and electric energy generated by the heat and power stations-1,-2 and for thermal energy supplied by Termocom to final users.

It should be noted that earlier Termocom proposed to increase the current fee by 16.4 percent (147 leis) – to 1,045 leis for a gigacalorie. However, it agreed on a smaller growth as the heat and power stations-1 and -2 after the discussions with the Agency found an opportunity to cut the tariffs proposed earlier at the expense of the internal reserves.

Thus, the tariff for heat supplied by the heat and power plant-2 was increased by 17.7%, to 587.87 leis. The fee for heating supplied by the heat and power station-1 was increased by 23.8 percent. Thus, it will amount to 718.55 leis for a gigacalorie. The director of the heat and power station-2 Alexandr Comarov said only a necessary minimum had been laid in the approved tariffs, stressing that the situation is extremely difficult.
