OREANDA-NEWS. October 24, 2011. Creating of favorable conditions for movement around the city, the maximum provision of needs of persons with physical inability and qualitative services - the basis of the terrestrial metro that will be constructed in major cities of Ukraine. This was announced by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov on October, 20th, 2011, following the results of a seminar concerning designing, buildings, management and developments of underground which has taken place in Dubai.

"A very interesting component of incomes, except cost determination of a trip depending on length of a route, is advertising and sale of titles of separate metro stations - both to the companies, and private persons," Borys Kolesnikov has told.

So, some stations in Dubai are "names" of leading market players - the companies, thereby advertised their products, thus means for such advertising are directed at the development and construction of the metro.

"For example, you drive along the factory "Rochen" and the station is called "Peter Poroshenko subway station." This is memorable, and it is the best advertisement. Therefore, I think, financially capable Ukrainians will be able to realize thus their ambitions and to immortalize their names. In addition, there are many corporations that need this kind of advertising," the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine has noted.

The mayors of cities have noted that practice of provision of services to persons with physical inability, in particular, would be implemented. Currently, in the Dubai Metro, the lengthy strips are painted on a floor with which help passengers with visual impairments can get to the cashier register and follow to take into the metro. In addition, all the stations are equipped with special lifts, thanks to which the disabled people in invalid carriages can ride in the metro by level with all others.
