OREANDA-NEWS. October 24, 2011. The prosperity of any country requires sustained economic growth and maximum employment of the working population. It can be promoted by small-scale business which has the significant potential for development of economy and social sphere. Realizing importance of development of small business for Ukraine's economy, the Government is trying to perform particular steps for its maintenance and the further development.

For this purpose, on behalf of the Government, the state administrations in regions create grounds for holding regular meetings with representatives of regional management organizations and business associations to discuss and resolve urgent problems hindering implementation of an entrepreneurial activity.

The Coordination Council for development of small and medium business has been established in December, for forming of effective mechanisms of interaction by a principle "Government and business - partners" and provisions of dialogue of the Government with representatives of business on accepting of the weighed decisions in sphere of business, clarification of reforms performed by the Government, discussion of the problem questions hindering development of subjects of small and medium business.

Also at the initiative of the Government, a package of legislation has adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which are aimed at simplifying and easing the initiation and termination of business. In particular, the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine" On State Registration of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs" (to conduct electronic filing)," the Law of Ukraine "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine concerning the abolition of the certificate on state registration of legal persons and individual entrepreneurs," the Law of Ukraine "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on simplification of procedures for starting a business," the Law of Ukraine "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the facilitation of termination of legal entities and business individual entrepreneurs for their decision."
