OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2011. Presentation of electronic library Elsevier has been held in the Baku State University (BGU).

The University reports that along with the presentation it was also organized a training seminar on the theme "Use of E-Resources" on learning the database use rules.

The Elsevier database consists of 19,000 books, magazines and other materials of 5,000 publishing houses of the world. These publications cover various areas of science (physics, chemistry, etc.). At that, through the database it is possible to obtain information about various directions of science.

During the seminar the Elsevier reps stressed the importance of the database in development of science. The speakers noted the importance of the wide use of database capabilities and productivity of use of e-books.
