OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2011. Svyazinvest held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on October 17, 2011.

A decision was adopted during the meeting to prematurely terminate the powers of the Company’s Board of Directors and elect a new Board of Directors with the following lineup:

Alexander A. Zharov, deputy telecommunications minister of the Russian Federation;

Mikhail M. Zadornov, chairman of the management board of VTB24;

Yury A. Kudimov, general director of Vnesheconombank (VEB Capital);

Marlen J. Manasov, member of the board of directors of UBS Bank;

Alexander N. Pertsovsky, president of Renaissance Capital;

Alexander Yu. Provotorov, CEO of Rostelecom;

Ivan I. Rodionov, professor of state university Higher School of Economics;

Vadim V. Semenov, general director of Svyazinvest;

Alexander A. Trubetskoy, co-manager of Trading France. 

At the close of the EGM the first meeting of the Company’s new Board of Directors was held, at which Alexander A. Trubetskoy was elected chairman of the Board of Directors.
