OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2011. The American hotel operator Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has come to Russia, it will manage the hotel “Beijing” in Moscow, the hotel’s owner “Gals-development” said.

The signing of the management agreement will take place on October 19. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts exists more than 100 years, developing the chain of hotels of “lux” class. It includes 66 hotels in 16 countries of the world (Canada, the USA, Mexico, Bermuda, Barbados, Great Britain, Monaco, Germany, Switzerland, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Southern Africa, the United Arab Emirates, China and Singapore). “Gals-development” (“System-Gals”) gained the control over 100% shares of Open Society “HOC “Beijing” in March 2011, earlier it managed the reconstruction of the hotel.

As noted then the company’s representatives, it was planned the redevelopment of the existing hotel “Beijing” in the high quality hotel of luxury segment (from 3 * to 5 *), attracting of the international hotel operator and construction of apartments, office and business center, shopping mall.
