OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2011. Belarus’ beer output increased 18.7% on the year in January-September 2011 to 36.552 million decaliters, a representative in the concern Belgospischeprom told reporters.

OJSC Krinitsa, based in Minsk, produced 12.264 million decaliters of beer, up 6.2% on the year.

OJSC Olivaria, based in the city of Minsk, produced 6.752 million decaliters of beer in January-September, an increase of 23.2% on the year. OJSC Lidskoe Pivo (Lida Beer), in the Grodno Region, increased beer output 25.4% to 5.498 million decaliters.

OJSC Brest Beer produced 3.102 million decalitres of beer, up 25.3%.

Heineken Breweries companies’ output reached 8.308 million decaliters of beer in the period, up 32% on the year.

Beer output in plastic bottles went up 76.6% to 28.011 million decaliters, in glass bottles rose 16.4% to 6.007 million decaliters, in kegs increased 15.5% to 2.34 million decaliters and in cans fell 30.3% to 193,800 decaliters.

Belarusian beer supplies to domestic wholesalers and retailers increased 19.7% on the year in January-September to 31.624 million decaliters.

Krinitsa sales went down 1.1% to 8.667 million decaliters, Olivaria sales went up 21.1% to 7.006 million decaliters, Lidskoe pivo sales increased 22.7% to 4.29 million decaliters, and sales of Brest Beer went up 28.2% to 2.357 million decaliters, of Heineken Breweries companies increased 38.4% to 8.71 million decaliters.

Belarusian companies’ export of beer rose 22.2% to 5.16 million decaliters. Krinitsa’s exports rose 26% to 2.873 million decaliters, Lidskoe Pivo exported 590,100 decaliters, up 41.3%. Olivaria exported 161,000 decaliters, up 120% Brest Beer 658,400 decaliters, up 23.1%.

Heineken Breweries companies’ export fell 20.6% to 294,000 decaliters of beer.
