OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2011. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 7.9% on the year in January-September 2011 to 186.7 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee told reporters.

Industrial output in January-September increased 10.6% on the year to Br206.7 trillion.

Farm output rose 4% to Br48.9 trillion.

In 2010, Belarus’ GDP grew 7.6% on the year to 163 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 161.9 trillion rubles, up 11.3% on the year. Farm output increased 2% to 30.8 trillion rubles.
