OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2011. Shafagat Takhautdinov, General Director of TATNEFT, headed the rating of the business elite of the Republic of Tatarstan at the end of the third quarter of 2011, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The Top 100 of the republican business elite has been made since 2008 at the commission of the newspaper "Business Online" by a sociological leading company of the Republic of Tatarstan - Center for Analytical Research and Development in collaboration with Paradigm Consulting Company.

A methodology has been developed especially for the rating of Tatarstan business elite based on experts' opinion from Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, representing the business community, government and media. The experts have estimated the influential significance of the Top 100 players by six criteria: managerial professionalism, influential authority among the colleagues, importance of the Company's activity for the Republican economy, lobbying capabilities, influence on the media and successfulness of the anti-crisis measures taken by the Company.
