OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2011. The President of Ukraine had been signed the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine" On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and the rate of take out (export) duties on certain cereals." This will allow Ukraine to implement, in full, an export potential and to assign to itself a role of the reliable player in foreign markets.

By his decision, the President has introduced into the legal effect of the decision of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from October, 7th under the bill № 9239 which has abolished export duties on wheat and corn.

"Thus, in the Ukrainian market grain-growing, with the exception of barley, there were new conditions for a free pricing for agricultural industry goods according to a world price conjuncture. Removal of export duties, at first, will lead to increased of profits from the sale of agricultural products for its producers, and secondly, we should expect the alignment of domestic prices to the level of world and regional prices. It will also significantly increase the intensity of export crops and industrial crops," the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Prysyazhnyuk has noted.
