OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2011. Each customer of the Archangelsk Branch of Nordea Bank who places a deposit in the amount of at least RUB 10 000 (or the equivalent in US Dollars and in Euros) and a minimum term of three months from 03 October 2011 till 30 November 2011 will receive a gift for a heartful tea-party in friendly air1. The promotion action is held under the slogan "We invite you to an interest bearing tea-party", reported the press-centre of Nordea Bank.

Nordea Bank offers a wide range of Rouble, Dollar and Euro denominated deposits to its customers:

"Capital" deposit scheme under which a high interest rate for a period varying from 1 month to 2 years is offered to the customers;

"Comfortable" deposit scheme under which a customer my get or capitalize interest each month;

"Accumulative" deposit scheme under which a customer may place fresh funds in the deposit each month;

"Universal" and "Universal+" deposit scheme under which a wide range of options is opened for a customer:

partial withdrawal up to the minimum balance according to the category of account;

capitalisation – addition of accrued interest to the account;

change of interest rate in case of deposit transfer into another category as a result of deposit replenishing or capitalisation ("Universal" deposit).

- to place fresh funds in the deposit;

- to withdraw a portion of the amount placed in the deposit, provided however that a minimum amount (specifically set for each type of deposit) shall always be held in the account;
- to capitalize interest;

- to review the interest rate in case the amount exceed a threshold amount set for the relevant category of the deposit and the deposit is referred to a higher category as a result of placement of fresh funds or capitalization of interest (this option is open for the ‘Universal’ deposit scheme).

"Smart Choice" and "Smart Choice+" deposit schemes under which a customer may place funds with NBR for 1, 2 or 3 years, with an option of receiving special interest rate in case of a premature withdrawal of funds;

"Pension" deposit scheme under which a customer is entitled to place fresh funds in the deposit and to get interest payment each month. Such option is open only to Russian pensioner upon presentation of the document issued to all Russian pensioners (a "pensioner’s certificate").

Other advantages of placing deposits with Nordea Bank include: funds may be placed with the Bank both in a banknote transaction and electronically; a power of attorney with regard to any deposit may be executed free of charge at any office of the Bank; the entire principal amount of the deposit and interest accrued thereon may be received on demand either in cash and by a wire transfer to another account opened with NBR or with another credit institution.
