OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2011. Extraordinary General Meeting of OAO Irkutskenergo Shareholders was held by absentee voting, with the quorum of 94.9%. Shareholders made decisions to approve of transactions stipulated by additional agreements to electric power and capacity purchase and sales contracts made by OAO Irkutskenergo with OAO RUSAL Bratsk and OAO SUAL in 2009, the additional agreements being subject to interest. Contracts are amended due to the new version of the Power and Capacity Wholesale Market Regulations being approved by Order of the Russian Federation Government 1172 dated 27.12.2010, in particular, introduction of regulated tariffs for the capacity of HPPs in the second price zone sold under competitive procedure.
